Good location, clean, friendly helpful staff. Room comfortable with adequate faciilities, excellent short stay hotel.
Good location near to Ponds forge sports centre and city centre. Room was clean but basic. A one offf price of £9:99 could be paid to access films, internet etc for a 24 hour period.
Breakfast in hotel although not particulary expensive ( £6:95) was not great. Bathroom was small with no bath, shower only, just a couple of small towels were provided. Bed was quite hard. However it is a budget hotel so for a short 1 or 2 night stay is probably ok.
the hotel was clean and nice staff
you can hear all from the others rooms, bathroom tiny but nice
It was Close to the Centre, It was cheap enough.
The brick wall we looked at out side our bedroom window, The size of the plates used for breakfast (more like side plates)
Central location, easily accessible. Pleasant, helpful staff
The room was very hot, there were no temperature control levers on the control panel for which to operate it. Otherwise very enjoyable stay.
The rooms were expensive and very hot as the air con is determined by the hotel not in the individual room The area is noisy.
Good modern hotel, shower pod fantastic
Location and price
I requested a twin room and was allocated a disabled room with a wet room type bathroom . When using the shower the bathroom was basically flooded and the water took a long time to drain away leaving the floor dirty and not really nice to use. When I've stayed at the Ibis before the bathrooms have always been a major reason why I've used them.
Secure car parking facility. Proximity to city centre and university.
The room was incredibly warm so we had to keep the window open all night, but the noise was such that it interrupted my sleep a lot.
Hotel is very good situated in Sheffield, close to railway station and tram lines.
There was no air conditioning in the corridor of 6 floor.
The hotel was handy for town and the train station which was useful for my business trip to get the office. The facilities are basic, the room was small but comfortable and clean, - ok for a couple of days but I wouldn't recommend for a longer period. There were no gym facilities which was disappointing, but there is a large sports centre and swimming pool across the street.
The staff were friendly, but a bit distracted, I thought the £7.50 per head charge for breakfast was far too expensive
Very helpfull staff, clean rooms easy access to the city centre.
The Hotel fine, only one slight moan, when I left the reception, I was met by the sight of 3 drunks collapsed outside to the right of the hotel on the pavement, I realise its not the Hotels fault, but it doesnt give a great impression to guests. possible security to remove them or inform the Police of the situation.
The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and nice. The check-in check- out process was very fast, and they got us everything we asked for when we did the reservation.
Everything else. The bed was uncomfortable, toilet made noise. The hotel was in urgent need of refurbishment. Butthe worst part of it was food. Stale bread, shriveled fruit, cold eggs and bacon. The previous day we stayed in Travelodge in Manchester - somewhat cheaper, but so much better.
city centre location, comfortable room, value for money
full of noisy men on stag night. They were very noisy in early hours of morning and disrupted our sleep.
